Product Designer - Web

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design from initial insight to shipped features, ensuring high quality and a customer-centric perspective.
• Collaborate with product owners and UX researchers to transform complex problems into clear design directions.
• Design specifically for the web medium, utilizing responsive layouts, browser-native patterns, and accessibility standards.
• Build and test prototypes rapidly, maintaining a continuous loop of hypothesis, testing, and learning with real customers.
• Document interaction and UI requirements to support developers during implementation and ensure design precision.
• Contribute to Picnic's design system and shared libraries to raise the overall craft of the UX Guild.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant design field (e.g., CMD, UX, Interaction, or Product Design).
• 3–6 years of experience as a Product Designer in a fast-paced digital environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product thinking and solving real-world problems at scale.
• Fluency in Figma and experience with rapid prototyping.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work on-site in Amsterdam full-time.
• A collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive direction independently.
