Product Designer

About the Company

Upstox is a leading Indian fintech and online stock brokerage platform that allows users to trade and invest in stocks, derivatives, commodities, currencies, mutual funds, and IPOs through mobile and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design from problem discovery to final visual execution
• Translate complex financial concepts into simple, user-friendly experiences
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams in an Agile setup
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback, data, and business requirements
• Ensure consistency, usability, and high-quality design standards across products
• Contribute to and evolve design systems and UI guidelines

Requirements

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Product, UX, or UI Design
• Strong proficiency in Figma
• Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, visual hierarchy, and accessibility
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of consistency and polish
• Experience working in fast-paced Agile product teams
• Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and trade-offs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing fintech, financial, or data-heavy consumer products
• Personal interest in finance, investing, or digital consumer products
• Experience working with large-scale consumer-facing applications
