Product Designer

About the Company

Thorin is an applied AI company born out of 8VC’s Build program, focused on redefining how work gets done inside modern organizations. We build proactive, long-horizon AI agents that continuously observe work across Slack, email, meetings, and documents to enable automation, coordination, and insight.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, end-to-end product experiences that translate complex AI capabilities into clear, usable workflows
• Partner closely with product and engineering to shape features from early concept through launch
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to explore ideas and guide implementation
• Gather and synthesize user feedback to iterate quickly and improve core experiences
• Help evolve Thorin’s design system and uphold a high bar for design quality

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally in SaaS or enterprise products
• Experience designing AI-powered products
• Familiarity with enterprise workflows, productivity tools, or developer-facing products
• Strong product thinking connecting user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Excellent visual, interaction, and UX design skills with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product in fast-moving teams
• Comfort working in ambiguity and shaping problems from scratch in a 0→1 environment
