About the Company

SKELAR is a venture builder that creates consumer businesses in global markets such as EdTech, Mental Health, and FashionTech. We are currently launching a new AI Language Tutor product from scratch, aiming to build an interactive communication environment where users can practice speaking without fear of judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design from scratch: create the full user experience and visual identity for a mobile application, from onboarding to core AI tutor interaction flows.
• Voice-first interface: design interfaces for real-time voice interaction with AI, including avatar states, voice visualization, and pronunciation feedback.
• Design system: build and maintain a scalable design system from the ground up.
• Onboarding & Monetization: design flows that directly impact key metrics like activation, subscription conversion, and retention.
• User Research: participate in customer development and prototype testing to iterate based on user insights.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of commercial experience in product design (Senior level) within B2C products.
• Mobile-first expertise with a strong portfolio of iOS/Android applications.
• Proven experience building and maintaining design systems from scratch.
• Product mindset focused on metrics such as CR, Retention, and LTV.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience with motion design/micro-animations (Rive, Lottie, or After Effects).
• English language proficiency at B2+ level or higher.
• Startup mindset with the ability to work in uncertain, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/LLM products, specifically conversational AI or voice interfaces.
• Understanding of the EdTech niche and language learning products.
• Experience designing applications with subscription-based monetization models.
• Experience in early-stage startups launching products from 0 to 1.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate the design process.
