About the Company

At Roadrunner, we’re replacing the broken CPQ software that Sales teams have complained about, worked around, and given up on for years. We’re building a new agentic stack called PQA - Prompt, Quote, Approve, designed for the enterprise. We’re Kleiner Perkins’ first incubation since Glean, led by second-time founders with a team of engineers from Snowflake, Databricks, Citadel, Meta, Robinhood, and Brex.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for how the product looks and feels, curating the taste of every interaction and layout
• Turn complex CPQ workflows and dense data into simple, intuitive UI
• Work directly with engineers on dedicated workstreams to make real-time design decisions
• Design AI-native workflows and shape how users interact with and trust AI agents
• Build and evolve an airtight design system to ensure consistent UI at speed

Requirements

• Systems thinking with an ability to build for reuse and patterns
• High autonomy and a builder's mindset
• Experience designing with AI tools to accelerate the design process
• Clear, direct communication skills for collaborating with engineers and founders
• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate for our in-person team

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong visual design skills in layout, typography, color, and spacing
• Frontend-aware with experience shipping a PR
• Experience designing complex B2B/SaaS workflows, particularly AI-powered features
• Experience working in an early-stage startup environment
