Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Design core product experiences end to end, from early exploration through launch and iteration
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to translate strategy and ambiguous problems into clear solutions
• Explore multiple directions quickly through sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Fine tune layout shifts, typography, spacing, motion, and interactions
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals while maintaining a high bar for craft
• Use user feedback and qualitative insights to refine and improve the product
• Contribute to and help evolve Profound’s design language, systems, and product vision
• Participate in regular design critiques to give and receive feedback

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience designing digital products, ideally in a startup environment
• Strong generalist skills with ability to own the full stack of design assets
• Entrepreneurial and product-thinking mindset
• Experience with AI tools and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, v0, Cursor)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and data scientists
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem-solving and high-quality visual design
• Experience with data visualization or B2B marketing products
• Ability to prototype directly in code and use git/GitHub
