Metriport is an open-source data intelligence platform that helps healthcare organizations access and exchange patient data in real-time. We integrate with all major US healthcare IT systems and tap into comprehensive medical data for 300+ million individuals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the design system, establishing a coherent design language for components, spacing, typography, and color
• Design features end to end, taking them from rough concept to detailed spec in collaboration with founders, PMs, and engineers
• Talk to and advocate for users to understand workflows and drive toward opinionated solutions
• Own brand and marketing design across the website, sales collateral, and event materials

Requirements

• Strong design instincts with defensible Figma work regarding typography, hierarchy, and interaction patterns
• Pragmatic approach to balancing craft and speed
• Technical literacy to write usable specs and engage in tradeoff conversations with engineers
• Low ego, high ownership mindset focused on rapid execution
