Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end product experiences across Klaviyo’s platform
• Translate complex workflows into clear, intuitive, well-documented solutions
• Design AI-assisted experiences that help users create, decide, and act more effectively
• Prototype and iterate using AI tools alongside traditional design workflows
• Apply Klaviyo’s design systems consistently and contribute feedback to help evolve them
• Collaborate with PM and engineering from problem definition through launch
• Participate in and conduct customer research and usability testing to validate ideas

Requirements

• Excellent design craft with strong fundamentals in visual hierarchy, interaction design, and usability
• Ability to translate complexity into clear, polished solutions
• Experience working with design systems and applying patterns consistently across a product
• AI fluency with tools like Claude, Cursor, v0, or similar
• Prototyping mindset focused on learning and improving quickly
• Collaborative approach partnering closely with product and engineering
• Research-driven with participation in usability testing and customer conversations
• Adaptability with proactive feedback-seeking and quick iteration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex or data-rich products
• Familiarity with marketing, messaging, or growth platforms
