Product Designer I

Responsibilities

• Generate complete product designs for major programs, including solid modeling, drawings, and layouts for complex assemblies.
• Prepare comprehensive models and layouts of piece parts or units from engineering data requiring high precision.
• Monitor and report program progress, taking action to address deviations from the plan.
• Develop construction concepts that align with overall business goals.
• Identify business opportunities for productivity enhancement, cost improvement, and cost avoidance.
• Prepare bills of materials and manage information input within the SAP system.
• Assist in training and checking the work of other drafters and provide technical direction on specific assignments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Pro Engineer or similar 3-D solid modeling software.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Pro/E.
• Expertise in SAP EC process transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, collaborate, and brainstorm effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• University Degree in Mechanical Drafting and Design.
• Experience with Variant Configuration.
