Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable platform libraries using variants, tokens, and other organizing principles to create reusable components.
• Collaborate with product teams to implement the design system across UI projects and evolve the Digital Design System based on user needs.
• Create and maintain high-quality engineering handover documentation and end-user documentation for component standards.
• Promote inclusive design practices by delivering accessible (AA) designs and components.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure design feasibility and review implementation during the development cycle.
• Support the design system through community support, research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
• Facilitate workshops and participatory design sessions to help other disciplines understand the value of the design system.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional UI design experience.
• High level of proficiency with the latest versions of Figma.
• Strong understanding of delivering WCAG compliant designs.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive design critiques.
• Awareness of established design systems such as Material Design and Fluent Design.
• A passion for the latest design, AI, and engineering technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation or Master's degree from a Design School.
• Background in engineering.
• Previous experience working within the retail sector.
• Experience managing high-profile design projects in customer-facing environments.
