Responsibilities

• Shape Arcade's architectural evolution and propose solutions that maintain coherence
• Define global patterns including layout systems, responsive behavior, and navigation structures
• Build and maintain design tooling such as Figma plugins, prototyping infrastructure, and token pipelines
• Prototype at the systems level to de-risk architectural decisions
• Pioneer interaction patterns for conversational AI paradigms
• Set production standards that are documented, replicable, and enforced through process
• Develop designers through structured critique

Requirements

• 8-10 years of product design experience
• Design engineering sensibility with comfort in Figma and code (CSS/JS/React or equivalent)
• Architectural understanding of design systems, including token structures and governance
• Experience defining standards for other designers and engineers to adopt
• Strong systems-level prototyping skills
• Ability to propose unified frameworks for fragmented problems
