Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of messaging experiences across DevRev, including real-time flows, asynchronous threads, and notifications
• Define interaction patterns for human-to-human, human-to-Computer, and Computer-initiated communication
• Make hard trade-offs between information density, interruptibility, and conversational flow
• Design for progressive disclosure and graceful complexity within the knowledge graph
• Collaborate closely with engineering on technical constraints like latency and optimistic UI
• Contribute to Arcade, the company design system, at the pattern level
• Mentor L1-L3 designers and provide feedback that improves work quality

Requirements

• 5-8 years of product design experience
• Expert-level proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools
• Deep understanding of conversational interfaces, messaging systems, or real-time collaboration products
• Demonstrated ability to own outcomes and drive measurable behavioral or metric changes
• Experience designing for real-world complexity, including optimistic UI and error recovery
• Strong systems thinking and ability to consider long-term durability
• Excellent communication skills with an evidence-based approach to decision making
