Product Designer, Design Systems

Responsibilities

• Design reusable UI components, patterns, and templates that align with design principles.
• Create and maintain shared UI libraries, tokens, and documentation in Figma.
• Define system-level patterns for AI-assisted workflows, agentic experiences, and generative UI.
• Develop UX patterns for multi-step task orchestration and human-in-the-loop review.
• Partner with engineers and product managers to ensure system feasibility and consistent implementation.
• Advocate for accessibility across all design system work and new AI-driven experiences.
• Establish design system guardrails to improve consistency and speed across product teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience in a product-focused technology organization.
• 2+ years of experience designing and evolving design systems, including components and documentation.
• Portfolio demonstrating design systems work and product design for AI-enabled or workflow-heavy experiences.
• Proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, variables, and advanced system workflows.
• Strong visual design, interaction design, and prototyping skills for desktop and mobile.
• Experience designing and shipping AI-enabled product experiences (e.g., agentic interactions or generative UI).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience defining design system guidance specifically for AI-enabled product experiences.
• Experience creating patterns for adaptive, dynamic, or context-aware interfaces.
• Deep understanding of design tokens, variables, and implementation-minded system thinking.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Ability to help teams adopt design systems through documentation and practical guidance.
