Responsibilities

• Own Arcade components end-to-end from Figma source of truth through token architecture to production
• Define and maintain the token system including color, spacing, elevation, and typography
• Drive Figma library governance including versioning, contribution models, and release cadence
• Collaborate directly with engineers on component APIs, prop contracts, and migration paths
• Create documentation and patterns to enable self-service for product teams
• Propose unified patterns to resolve inconsistencies across different product teams
• Mentor L1-L3 designers on systems thinking through workshops and structured critique

Requirements

• 5-8 years of product design experience with focus on design systems or platform design
• Expert Figma skills including advanced component architecture, variants, and variables
• Design engineering sensibility with comfort in design tokens, CSS custom properties, and component APIs
• Deep understanding of token architecture and semantic structures
• Experience working with engineering on component migration or design-to-code pipelines
• Proven ability to drive adoption and resolve systemic design problems
