Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Design shopper-facing experiences from initial idea through to shipped product
• Use motion intentionally to guide attention and improve user experience
• Prototype rapidly and test with real shoppers in real stores
• Work closely with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Help evolve the design system as the product grows
• Use AI as part of the everyday design process to explore ideas and prototype faster

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience designing digital products
• Experience working within and evolving a design system (components, tokens, patterns)
• Strong UX skills with the ability to simplify complex problems
• Exceptional visual craft in layout, typography, colour, and spacing
• Confident prototyping skills to communicate and validate ideas
• Integration of AI into the design workflow
• Ability to work in ambiguity and move quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building a design system from the ground up
• Familiarity with Tokens Studio and design-to-code tooling
• Motion and interaction design experience
• Interest in brand and visual identity
• Previous startup experience
