Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Craft exceptional, intuitive, and well-crafted user experiences for Airtable's most critical workflows.
• Help define the strategic vision for Airtable as it evolves into an AI-native platform.
• Build and explore working prototypes in code to validate complex interactions and bridge the gap between design and development.
• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to create cohesive experiences across the platform.
• Conduct user research and interviews to ensure designs meet the specific needs of passionate builders.
• Contribute to the design culture through critiques, collaborative jam sessions, and experimentation with AI-assisted design operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product design.
• A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, impactful, and high-quality design work.
• Proficiency in prototyping and a strong ability to move between sketching and detailed interaction design.
• Familiarity with code and prototyping tools (e.g., using tools like Cursor, Codex, or GitHub Copilot to explore ideas).
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, novel, and complex problem-solving environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for AI, SaaS, or zero-to-one products.
• Deep curiosity about emerging software creation tools and agentic workflows.
