Product Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the design strategy for the Payment Gateway and Web Platforms pod, translating business vision into actionable design-first GTM strategies.
• Manage, mentor, and scale a team of 4–5 designers, overseeing career growth and design quality.
• Partner with business unit leadership to align design objectives with functional goals and resolve stakeholder conflicts.
• Direct product architecture using a "build to learn" mindset, incorporating continuous prototyping and usability testing.
• Define North Star metrics and utilize data to ensure design outputs drive measurable business revenue.
• Orchestrate the delivery of complex, multi-quarter projects by balancing competing priorities and unblocking teams.
• Elevate visual systems by unifying design systems, motion, and UX copy across the product ecosystem.
• Ensure high-quality engineering handoffs through robust documentation and a deep understanding of frontend systems.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product design experience, specifically with complex enterprise, B2B, or fintech platforms.
• 1–2 years of experience managing and scaling direct reports.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating depth in interaction design, visual rigor, and clear decision-making logic.
• High technical acumen with the ability to design scalable, developer-friendly interfaces within technical constraints.
• Proficiency in systems thinking and fluency in working with and extending design systems.
• Excellent communication skills for writing UX copy, presenting design directions, and managing stakeholders.
