Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D models and drawings for aerospace bearing components and assemblies
• Translate customer technical requirements into technical offerings and first-tier drawings
• Provide manufacturing support and input on product manufacturability and process improvements
• Manage technical design and CAD functions within the Product Engineering Team
• Support both New Product Introductions (NPI) and improvements to existing products
• Maintain standards and work instructions for drawing layouts and CAD best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred)
• Experience with commercial CAD and PLM software (PTC Creo/Windchill or Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred)
• US Citizenship is required
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with statics and dynamics calculations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with ABMA standards
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, or Visual Basic
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software programs
