Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting-edge intelligent, AI-powered devices
• Drive product development in collaboration with manufacturing partners
• Build, test to failure, and iterate on prototypes quickly
• Help define and drive product roadmaps and development timelines
• Work closely with industrial designers, hardware engineers, and software engineers to bring ideas to life

Requirements

• 5+ years of mechanical design experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX preferred) for designing densely packaged electronic devices (PCBs, flexes, antennas, batteries, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of various materials and scalable manufacturing processes
• BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building complex electronic products
• Ability to independently manage tasks and communicate technical issues clearly
• Passion for working in fast-paced, highly creative, and collaborative environments
• Experience presenting technical designs and slides to leadership teams
• Familiarity with multiple product development disciplines and their dependencies
