Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity product design, estimations, and technical risk management.
• Provide engineering support for design, manufacturing, problem-solving, and risk management activities.
• Ensure design quality using DRBFM methodology and analyze cause-and-effect relationships of risks.
• Review and optimize designs, including finite element analysis and theory confirmation.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models for both customer and internal use.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, stack-up evaluations, and apply GD&T.
• Contribute to DFMEA development to ensure all customer requirements are met.
• Support the customer quoting phase by providing technical information for initial costing.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) for new product releases.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D drawing reading and interpretation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with design verification and product validation.
• Ability to perform technical risk assessments.
• Proven problem-solving skills within an engineering context.
• Knowledge of Engineering Change Request (ECR) processes.
