About the role
Responsibilities
- Define track detection equipment, including types, quantities, specifications, and configurations
- Design, evolve, and maintain railway signaling products to ensure safety and performance
- Write technical documentation for installation, maintenance, and testing
- Collaborate with project, industrialization, test, quality, and offer teams, as well as external partners
- Provide technical support for on-site failures or difficulties
- Train internal and external teams on equipment installation, testing, and maintenance
- Participate in the definition and costing of detection systems for commercial offers
- Supervise tests and certifications in collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams
- Travel to project sites or subcontractor locations to assist with trials and product acceptance
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Bac+5) in electronics
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the railway industry or a similar field (automotive, aerospace, or electronic industry)
- Proficiency in analog electronics
- Fluent English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent technical report writing skills in both French and English
- Strong autonomy, rigor, and initiative
