Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define track detection equipment, including types, quantities, specifications, and configurations
• Design, evolve, and maintain railway signaling products to ensure safety and performance
• Write technical documentation for installation, maintenance, and testing
• Collaborate with project, industrialization, test, quality, and offer teams, as well as external partners
• Provide technical support for on-site failures or difficulties
• Train internal and external teams on equipment installation, testing, and maintenance
• Participate in the definition and costing of detection systems for commercial offers
• Supervise tests and certifications in collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams
• Travel to project sites or subcontractor locations to assist with trials and product acceptance

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) in electronics
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the railway industry or a similar field (automotive, aerospace, or electronic industry)
• Proficiency in analog electronics
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Excellent technical report writing skills in both French and English
• Strong autonomy, rigor, and initiative
