Product Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
• Support the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) database by ensuring documents are properly indexed and aligned with user queries
• Manage and organize technical documents, including owner manuals, engineering manuals, and installation guides
• Review, classify, and apply appropriate metadata and tagging to new documents for efficient retrieval
• Maintain data quality by updating, correcting, or removing outdated content in the database
• Collaborate with technical and support teams to validate document accuracy and relevance
• Participate in periodic data quality audits and database optimization reviews
• Document processes and best practices for ongoing database management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of data management principles, including accuracy, consistency, and organization
• Familiarity with PIM or DAM systems
• Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or other structured data tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
