Responsibilities

• Design and analyse A/B tests across Viator’s marketplace using sound statistical methods
• Champion experimentation best practices including power calculations and guardrail metrics
• Own the measurement framework for product areas by defining key metrics and building instrumentation
• Conduct exploratory analyses and deep dives using tree-based or regression modeling
• Enable self-service through scalable datasets, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
• Translate analytical outputs into actionable product recommendations
• Act as a thought partner with product managers and engineers
• Communicate complex analyses into clear narratives for non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Several years in a data science, analytics, or quantitative research role
• Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets
• Proficiency with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Looker
• Experience with the full A/B testing process
• Proficiency in Python for analysis and exploratory modeling
• Track record of influencing product or business decisions with data
• Ability to work with ambiguity and a growth mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to advanced statistical methods and causal inference (propensity scoring, synthetic controls, etc.)
• Familiarity with LLMs or NLP tooling for analytics
• Experience in travel or e-commerce marketplace dynamics
