About the role
Responsibilities
- Use strategy and analytics to improve the digital shopping experience through enhanced product data and metadata.
- Analyze and track attribute completeness and accuracy to drive conversion and revenue growth.
- Set up recurring audits and compliance processes to monitor data integrity.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and BI teams to syndicate metadata across web and app platforms.
- Utilize AI tools to enrich metadata for improved speed, accuracy, and breadth.
- Partner with Product and Content Operations to define requirements for new PIM and CMS tools.
- Work with Data Science and BI to define and own key metrics for measuring metadata impact on AOV, Conversion, and Add to Cart.
- Coordinate with regional teams to adjust global metadata needs and support merchandising priorities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of ecommerce merchandising experience.
- Strong experience managing digital storefronts for high-traffic ecommerce platforms.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce KPIs, including conversion, add-to-cart, AOV, and revenue per visitor.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive merchandising decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, UX, and engineering teams.
- Experience working with ambiguity and imperfect data in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) ecommerce.
- Familiarity with merchandising tools, search platforms, and personalization engines.
- Experience building the foundations of a site merchandising function, including tools, reporting, and processes.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Masters) is a plus.
