Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor on data, establishing best practices for collection, analysis, and reporting
• Lead analysis of large, complex datasets to understand player behavior and identify growth opportunities
• Translate data insights into recommendations for game design, feature development, and product roadmap
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and developers
• Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports
• Utilize A/B testing to evaluate and optimize game features and mechanics

Requirements

• At least 4 years of analytical work experience in gaming, tech, or a data-driven industry
• Proven track record working closely with product teams
• Proficiency with SQL and either R or Python
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
• Good knowledge of statistical analysis and industry-standard methods like A/B testing or forecasting
• Strong analytical mind, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical/statistical problems
• Highly pragmatic mindset and proactive ownership of the data chain
