About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of production and logistics specialists to support manufacturing operations
  • Manage monthly operation plans and drive overall plant forecasts and production plans
  • Direct order-to-delivery execution in collaboration with sales, engineering, finance, and materials teams
  • Manage customer demand and supply chain resources, flexing production to address dynamic scheduling changes
  • Oversee the tire and wheel supply chain for large tractor assembly
  • Manage scheduling and delivery for Fargo axle production and sister plant requirements (Benson cabs, Harbin components, Grand Island valves)
  • Direct the prioritization of final tractor production for shipping and delivery
  • Oversee direct report training, safety management audits, and performance management processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in operations and supply chain management
  • Proven experience forecasting demand, inventory supply, and customer lead times
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting models, including theory on constraints and predictive models
  • Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to optimize schedules
  • Experience with production scheduling and inventory management using ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Advanced data analysis and tracking skills using Excel
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline management and constraint analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-departmental partnerships
