Product Controller - Associate

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily P&L and month-end close processes for the Clearing Desk to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports regarding Brokerage Clearing & Exchange fees.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance leadership.
• Support regulatory and industry change initiatives, including compliance with Dodd/Frank, EMIR, and Basel III.
• Collaborate with the business to implement robust controls and drive process transformation through technology solutions.
• Coordinate with back office functions to resolve control and reporting issues promptly.
• Compile and distribute MIS, including monthly financials, and respond to ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related area.
• Proven experience with P&L, Risk, and month-end close processes.
• Strong understanding of financial products and industry accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Alteryx, Qlik Sense, Python, or VBA.
• Experience working with derivatives and complex financial products.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and dashboard development.
