Product Control - Vice President

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of controllers responsible for building and validating controls over the deal lifecycle, from setup to closure.
• Ensure appropriate booking and accounting treatment for fees, expenses, taxes, and income attributions in accordance with regulatory policies.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in day-to-day execution of billing, nostro management, and revenue/risk reporting.
• Lead and implement project initiatives within the Controllers group.
• Manage effective escalations of operational risks to Business Managers, Product Controllers, and Financial Controllers.
• Contribute to the end-to-end control framework of the business and function.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) or an MBA with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve control issues impacting financial results.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a focus on controls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex matters to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently under tight timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of banking products and business operations.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams within a global investment banking environment.
