Product Configuration and Variability Manager

Responsibilities

• Analyze product solutions during the pre-tender phase to identify gaps between client requirements and reference solutions
• Support the Product Director in defining reference solutions based on market trends and development initiatives
• Challenge and validate product solution modifications to optimize Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets
• Drive product convergence activities to minimize overlaps within the same product family
• Implement governance to ensure adherence to the intended product reference configuration throughout the project lifecycle
• Perform detailed analyses to support architecture proposals and validation decisions
• Consolidate feedback and lessons learned (REX) from projects regarding reliability, design, and manufacturing
• Monitor and report on product configuration compliance during project reviews

Requirements

• Proven expertise in technical management, general management, and project management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams toward QCD objectives
• Demonstrated ability to lead interfunctional activities and manage multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex environments
• Ability to work effectively across multiple sites in a multicultural environment
