Product Assembler I

Responsibilities

• Assemble large and heavy parts to complete units or subassemblies on machines
• Use hand tools, small power tools, and special equipment or tooling on a regular basis
• Reassemble or rework units as required to meet quality standards
• Report defects and repair needs on mobile equipment by following safety check procedures
• Perform daily housekeeping functions and follow Standard Work Instructions
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety procedures

Requirements

• 6 months of work experience
• Basic computer experience
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
• Ability to perform repetitive operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in parts or product assembly manufacturing
• Mechanical aptitude and heavy equipment manufacturing experience
• Experience with overhead hoists, cranes, or torque tools
• Proficiency with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work
• Flexible mindset and ability to work independently
