Product Application Specialist

Responsibilities

• Liaise with third-party engineers, customers, vendors, and outside sales to determine project requirements and specifications.
• Generate customer legend sheets and technical specifications.
• Calculate refrigeration load requirements and parameters.
• Construct full end-to-end proposals for entire refrigeration systems, including racks, gas coolers, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
• Act as a consultant to customers regarding new store installations or full-store remodels.
• Utilize proprietary product application software to deliver proposals within established service levels.
• Enter customer orders accurately and in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR 5 years of experience in the HVAC/R field.
• Alternatively, a Diploma from an accredited HVAC/R institution with 2 years of HVAC/R experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret store layout drawings and fixture plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of direct experience in a technical role within the commercial refrigeration industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
• Superior communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
