Product Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and product teams to build scalable revenue recognition processes in Oracle
• Review current revenue recognition processes and implement improvements for efficiency and timeliness
• Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for Cash App products
• Reconcile intercompany balances and establish processes for current and future state transactions
• Interface with Internal Audit and independent public accounting firms on technical accounting matters
• Work with Technical Accounting, Tax, Counsel, and Treasury teams to ensure compliance
• Enhance documentation and controls as part of SOX compliance efforts
• Partner with Finance & Strategy teams to investigate variances and assist in budgeting
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in internal or external audit, GL accounting, or revenue accounting
• Strong technical expertise in GAAP

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Oracle Cloud experience
