Producer/Editor, Originals, CNBC

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production for CNBC Explains and Founder Effect in the Middle East, from idea generation to final delivery
• Pitch and develop stories focused on business, technology, and entrepreneurship in the region
• Script and edit high-quality videos, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strong narrative structure
• Plan and oversee shoots, including directing camera operators and conducting interviews
• Manage post-production workflows using Adobe Premiere to meet strict deadlines
• Collaborate with international newsroom teams to maintain global franchise consistency
• Adapt content for digital, broadcast, and social platforms to maximize audience engagement
• Liaise with creative teams to develop motion graphics and data visualizations

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in video production, ideally within business, news, or factual formats
• Proven track record of producing, scripting, and editing video content end-to-end
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or equivalent professional editing software
• Strong writing skills for crafting scripts, headlines, and editorial copy
• Ability to translate complex economic and business topics into engaging narratives
• Strong editorial judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across international time zones
