About the role
Responsibilities
- Generate new sales to existing and prospective clients through strategic proposal preparation and needs analysis
- Design individual prospect sales strategies and develop unique prospect programs
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to uncover unique coverage needs and provide consultative advice
- Maintain high-quality client touchpoints through consistent phone and face-to-face engagement
- Identify and close potential cross-sell opportunities and rounding opportunities
- Develop new relationships with key decision-makers in insurance and risk management
- Provide feedback and support to service team members to assist in skill acquisition
- Participate in leadership roles within targeted community and professional associations
Requirements
- Valid state-relevant insurance license(s)
- Proven track record of successful sales pipeline development and effective sales strategies
- Experience working with Financial Institutions or Professional Services firms
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance and risk management products, services, and value propositions
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred
