Producer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the editorial vision of the show, including suggesting stories and guests
• Write and produce segments for the program
• Work with Executive Producers and Senior Producers to build rundowns and show documents
• Coordinate with the desk and various departments on show logistics and segment execution
• Participate in the show planning process
• Manage the control room during live broadcasts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 6 years of editorial experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment
• Strong understanding of financial markets
• Prior experience working at a financial news network
• Experience working with anchors and senior management

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to develop story ideas, conduct research, and plan segments
• Strong journalistic judgment and writing skills
• Proven live producing and control room skills
• Excellent time management abilities
