Producer/Researcher

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, analyze, and confirm news information, facts, statistics, and contacts
• Produce detailed documents on a variety of topics using industry-standard research tools
• Break down and organize complex information into concise research documents
• Assist segment producers and bookers with relevant research needed for the show
• Perform segment producing as needed with opportunities for advancement

Requirements

• Experience in a research role or television production
• Strong knowledge and passion for current events and politics
• Ability to write clearly and concisely
• Proven ability to juggle multiple assignments under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to breaking news
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
