Responsibilities

• Create a newscast that delivers unique content and distinguishes FOX6 from the competition
• Maintain accuracy and demonstrate urgency in news writing
• Manage broadcast news production including stacking, showcasing, and writing teases
• Execute error-free newscasts from the booth while staying calm under pressure
• Establish FOX6 as a go-to source for breaking news and manage live streaming and online presence

Requirements

• College degree, preferably in Journalism
• Minimum of two years producing experience at a commercial television station
• Excellent news judgment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in journalism, writing, and sourcing through social networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience producing or contributing to streaming or digital newscasts
• Non-linear editing skills
