Producer Consultant

Responsibilities

• Acquire new clients and retain existing ones to maximize sales volume within the Habitational Department
• Generate new leads through cold calling, community activities, and association meetings
• Negotiate insurance placements with carriers and evaluate coverages and costs
• Present professional proposals to prospects and close sales to deliver policies
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with both produced and assigned clients
• Promote referral and cross-selling opportunities to expand business
• Maintain technical industry knowledge and stay updated on market trends and products

Requirements

• Ability to prospect effectively, including experience with cold calling
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and sales closing skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Property & Casualty license (or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment)
• Ability to travel as necessary for client meetings and industry conventions
• Resilience and motivation to achieve sales goals and handle customer rejection
