Procurement Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of buyer-planners, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations
• Coordinate and oversee material planning and procurement activities according to established KPIs
• Identify procurement risks related to programs or processes and develop viable recommendations
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with preferred suppliers and manage supplier risks
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of new procedures
• Assist the Procurement Manager with departmental budgeting, workforce planning, and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
• 10 years of experience in a procurement department
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical technologies used in space hardware production
• Proficiency with ERP planning tools and advanced Excel skills
• Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level II (SECRET) security clearance and pass Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessments
