About the role
Responsibilities
- Support procurement and distribution of goods including general items, medicines, and medical equipment
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on request forms and demonstrations
- Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Execute pre-order processes and manage purchase orders (PO) for routine and non-routine items
- Ensure accuracy of administrative data related to ordering, negotiation, and purchasing
- Follow up with suppliers regarding delays or backlogs in goods and services
- Collect data and prepare operational reports for management
- Implement quality service and occupational safety procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, inventory management, or administrative support preferred
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier relationship management
- Understanding of procurement regulations and compliance standards in healthcare
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
