Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
• Negotiate contracts for critical commodities and services, specifically focusing on steel constructions and raw materials.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure the best value for the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent proven experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience specifically within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in contract management.
• Solid knowledge of costing principles and exposure to project cost management.
• Familiarity with steel construction and steel raw materials procurement.
• Knowledge of international standards and a global supply base.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
