Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage all company-wide purchasing functions including creating, managing, and closing out requisitions and purchase orders
• Interact with interdepartmental staff, vendors, and management to fulfill purchase requests
• Perform cash, purchasing, and project management analysis to track expenses and revenues against budget
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives
• Coordinate with Finance, Project, and Executive teams to review purchasing information and forecasts
• Travel to vendors up to 40% as necessary

Requirements

• BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with supplier onboarding processing
• Must be a U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with export regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, or Investment Banking industry
• Understanding of project management and program budgets
