Procurement Specialist - Raw Materials

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic aspects of the raw materials expenditure category (diesel, gasoline, lubricants, propane, industrial gases)
• Analyze client needs and expenditures to identify improvement opportunities
• Develop procurement strategies to ensure maximum value for the company
• Evaluate procurement risks and develop mitigation plans
• Manage the full transactional cycle from demand definition to contract management
• Coordinate strategic procurement activities including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Negotiate contracts to obtain optimal commercial and contractual terms
• Monitor market trends and conduct market research
• Provide management with analysis and reports on savings achieved

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
• Strong negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the mobile equipment market
• Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or Engineering
• Bilingual in French and English
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving abilities
