About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic aspects of the raw materials expenditure category (diesel, gasoline, lubricants, propane, industrial gases)
- Analyze client needs and expenditures to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop procurement strategies to ensure maximum value for the company
- Evaluate procurement risks and develop mitigation plans
- Manage the full transactional cycle from demand definition to contract management
- Coordinate strategic procurement activities including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Negotiate contracts to obtain optimal commercial and contractual terms
- Monitor market trends and conduct market research
- Provide management with analysis and reports on savings achieved
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the mobile equipment market
- Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or Engineering
- Bilingual in French and English
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving abilities
