Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT) to ensure material planning meets project requirements and weekly production schedules.
• Manage material shortages by running weekly system reports and collaborating with the buying team to close gaps.
• Handle work order management based on build plans and implement inventory management measures.
• Analyze material availability and capacity based on customer demand to create achievable loading schedules.
• Manage excess and obsolete inventory submissions, work orders, and MRB/DR management to achieve operating goals.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) accounts by providing fast service and effective communication to protect business interests.
• Utilize the waterfall method to manage customer forecasts and shipments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Planning or Supply Chain Purchasing.
• Proficiency in ERP/P2P systems such as BAAN, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of the complete planning cycle, including MPS, MRP, Demand Planning, and Production Planning.
• Experience with Engineering BOMs, product structure, EOL, and ECO Management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kinaxis planning tools.
