About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather procurement requirements and support demand forecasting
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for materials and components
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery schedules, and product availability
- Support new product setup and item master data management within ERP/WMS systems
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment planning
- Resolve supplier and receiving issues including shipment discrepancies, damaged deliveries, and RMAs
- Partner with warehouse, operations, and accounting teams to ensure smooth workflows
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor data, and pricing information
- Identify and escalate supply chain risks or delays
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or higher in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift 5-10 lbs and sit for prolonged periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehouse Management (D365)
- Background in purchasing IoT, electronics, or technology-related products
- Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse operations
- Experience handling supplier discrepancies, returns, and logistics coordination
