Procurement Specialist - Capex

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for Capex, including kitchen equipment, HVAC, MEP, FF&E, and fit-out works.
• Own delivery tracking and expediting for all open purchase orders, maintaining live trackers and conducting proactive supplier follow-ups.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal procurement requests, scoping technical specifications and managing the full lifecycle from intake to close-out.
• Lead RFQ processes, driving competitive tendering and conducting commercial negotiations to secure best value and favorable terms.
• Prepare detailed bid comparison matrices and professional approval packages for senior management sign-off.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with UAE-based suppliers and conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Finance to track payment milestones, review invoice accuracy, and resolve any payment disputes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive procurement experience, specifically focusing on Capex and technical categories.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of F&B and hospitality equipment (commercial kitchens, cold rooms, extraction systems, etc.).
• Proven experience procuring HVAC, MEP, FF&E, and fit-out works within the UAE hospitality sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage 50+ open purchase orders simultaneously across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of driving savings and challenging inflated pricing.
• Solid understanding of UAE market suppliers, pricing benchmarks, and industry lead times.
