Procurement Senior Professional

Responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition of services, fixed assets, equipment, and materials for the Altamira plants to support Engineering, Special Projects, and Maintenance Capex programs.
• Execute purchase orders within required timelines to ensure plant operational needs are met.
• Conduct quotation processes and negotiations to secure competitive pricing, quality, and availability.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with corporate policies and performance standards.
• Monitor delivery timelines, item status, and invoice conditions to ensure timely payment and accounting.
• Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and lead times.
• Support the procurement of specialized labor services and package equipment based on technical specifications.
• Maintain and improve documentation related to Integrated Management Systems (SGI), safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Proficiency in SAP (specifically the MM module).
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in commercial condition management.
• Knowledge of import processes and international procurement.
