Procurement Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage procurement quality activities in compliance with project specifications and client requirements
• Verify vendor qualification and compliance with Approved Vendor Lists (AVL)
• Perform quality review of Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE)
• Review and approve vendor quality documentation including ITPs, VDRLs, and manufacturing records
• Coordinate vendor Kick-Off Meetings (KOMs) and Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIMs)
• Monitor inspection activities including vendor inspections, third-party inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
• Manage procurement-related non-conformances (NCRs), deviations, and concession requests
• Ensure full material traceability through correct certification and documentation
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project teams to align quality requirements with delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate procurement quality records and support client audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in EPC projects with exposure to procurement quality or QA/QC
• Experience with ADNOC, TAQA, or similar EPC projects preferred
• Knowledge of procurement quality processes, contract management, and vendor inspections
• Proficiency in ITP review, vendor document review, and FATs
• Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and on high platforms or in confined spaces
