Procurement & Planning Specialist

Responsibilities

• Build and manage production schedules to meet customer commitments
• Release and prioritize shop orders to maintain smooth manufacturing operations
• Adjust production plans based on forecast changes, engineering updates, and real-time needs
• Manage purchase orders and partner with suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery
• Proactively address shortages, backorders, and supply disruptions
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, safety stock, and lead times
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure system accuracy
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and logistics teams

Requirements

• Experience in planning, scheduling, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adjust quickly to changing needs
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with data and systems
