Procurement Operations Buyer

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement support for various commodities and technologies to develop subject matter expertise.
• Partner with business owners to identify and onboard vendors, manage purchase requisitions, and oversee purchase orders.
• Negotiate contracts with low-risk suppliers to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership.
• Facilitate effective communication with suppliers regarding policies, design standards, budget targets, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure business control, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in initiatives to meet performance metrics.
• Execute standard risk mitigation, business continuity, and cost management strategies.

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of work experience in procurement, category management, operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ERP and SAP Applications.
• Strong skills in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified In Production And Inventory Management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Certified Professional In Supply Management (CPSM).
